2024 Books, Post 4

A pretty mixed group this time, and also I DNFed three books in this time period, I'm already up to 5 or 6 DNFs for the year, I think, which is more than I get most years. I'm both glad that I'm being kind to myself on what I'm reading and annoyed that I keep running across books that don't live up to what I want them to be! Anyway, DNFed two romances (one second chance romance that AGAIN was doing the flashback thing and one enemies to lovers that wasn't doing it for me) and one ... man, what even was the third one. Oh! A self-pubbed sci fi whose tone just wasn't working for me.

I am finally feeling like I'm back to an appropriate number of books on my shelf, thank goodness! I'm still feeling a bit discontented with a lot of books I'm reading lately, not quite sure what to do about that besides just trying to keep on with ones I think I'll like.
