Summary: The longer Merlin's lies go on, the harder Arthur finds it to trust him.
A/N: Um, this one got long, so I am splitting it off into numbered points. Sorry, I know you are here for the fic, skip if you wish.
1. For this variation-of-a-prompt on the meme. I did not see what it was a variation of until too late, alas.
2. If you are looking for my usual Daily Dose Of Candyfloss ... this is not it. Just to warn you.
3. Title from "All the Same" by the Sick Puppies. And normally I do not talk about the music I take my titles from, but I have been looking for an excuse to use this title forever, because, Merlin fandom, we need to talk about this song and why there are not A MILLION Arthur-POV fanvids to it. Seriously, go listen to the song. Or just read the lyrics. It is unquestionably my Arthur-knows-about-Merlin's-magic theme song.
4. This came out of head-canon that I started playing with throughout s3 when I got pissed about Arthur and his throwing things and generally treating Merlin horribly (along with my long-held head-canon that Arthur has known about Merlin since s1, because HOW COULD HE NOT), and became characterization for an Epic Reincarnation Fic That I Do Not Have Time To Write. For the curious, "Like the Tide Pulls Me Under" comes from this same head-canon universe.

A/N: Inspired by this kinkme_merlin prompt. Title from Terry Pratchett's "Guards! Guards!" It's ... there is really no excuse for this, and it is half the length it potentially could have been (so there might be deleted scenes at some later date if I am so inclined, especially because Gwaine and Freya insisted on sort of shipping themselves and I didn't get to explore it as much as I wanted ...). But I had fun writing it, so I hope you have fun reading it.

Summary: How do you spend the last day of the world? Also known as The One Where Merlin Prevents the Apocalypse Because He Wants to Go Out for Dinner.
A/N: Title and end quote from "Song for the Road," by David Ford, which you should all go listen to instantly because it's amazing. For this kinkme_merlin prompt, because I was in the mood to blow up the world and fic is an excellent way of doing that: Early in the morning, the news being broadcast internationally is that the world will end that very same day. Arthur's partner, upon hearing this news, breaks up with him and leaves. Arthur roams the streets, while everyone's in a panic, depressed at the idea of spending the last day of his life alone, until he comes across a stranger named Merlin, whom he asks, "will you spend the rest of your life with me?"
